DIY Basic Sasquatch™ MegaTree™ Kit

 

 

The Sasquatch MegaTree™ is the backbone of every serious show. This basic kit gives you everything you need to build a MegaTree frame that’s solid, reliable, and ready for lights. It’s the same system we literally field-test in our own installs — built to last, not just look good.

 

 

What’s in the Kit:

 

 

• Sliding Topper (pick your size) – smooth up-and-down operation with a winch
• MegaTree Pulley Cap – designed for easy, controlled lifting
• Pulley Cap Cover – keeps things clean and weather-tight
• Star Mount – locks your star securely on top

 

 

That’s the core of the system. From here, you’ve got options — but not all add-ons are created equal.

 

 

 

 

Important Add-On & Warranty Notice ⚠️

 

 

The Lipsch Engineer is the only aftermarket add-on approved and tested for use with the Mattos Sasquatch™ MegaTree™.

 

• Using any other aftermarket add-on or modification with this kit is not recommended
• Those products have not been tested by Mattos Designs
• Use of unapproved add-ons may void your factory warranty

 

 

We’ve tested the Lipsch Engineer extensively, and it is:

 

• Fully compatible with the Sasquatch™ system
• Proven to work correctly and safely
• The only add-on that preserves your factory warranty

 

 

If warranty protection matters to you (and it should), stick with what’s been tested and approved.

 

 

 

 

What You’ll Need to Add (Not Included):

 

 

• Main Pole: 2” x 2” square steel tubing, cut to your desired height plus 6 inches (to allow for the pulley cap and topper)
• Four Base Legs: 2” x 2” square steel, minimum 5’ long each
• Winch: standard hand winch for raising and lowering
• Base Hoop: not included. You can build your own or grab one of ours here → Sasquatch™ MegaTree™ Hoops
