Don't Forget the Parts That Make the Lights Work
Choose one small project first. Use this checklist before checkout; not every project needs every item.
Your Display
- Pixels with the correct voltage, node count and spacing
- A coro prop, roofline mount or MegaTree structure
- Extra nodes or repair parts if desired
Control and Power
- Controller compatible with the pixel protocol and output wiring
- Correctly rated power supply, enclosure and fused distribution
- Appropriately rated power/data extensions and any required injection components
- Matching xConnect or Mconnect ends and compatible adapters, if required
Mount and Protect
- Strips, clips or prop mounting hardware
- Weather-appropriate mounting and strain relief
- Weather-resistant housing for components that need it
Before Checkout
- Count every pixel and controller port.
- Confirm voltage and protocol for each product.
- Check connector family and pinout; never assume.
- Measure cable runs and plan power injection where necessary.
- Plan a basic bench test before mounting.
