The Cosmic 8-Series Baldrick8 V2 is a ready-to-run, prebuilt 8-output pixel controller for xLights/FPP displays. Built around the updated Baldrick8 V2 controller board, it combines 8 xConnect pixel outputs, dual Ethernet connections with an onboard network switch, Mean Well 12V power, and a Boxco P-Series weather-resistant enclosure in a complete finished controller.
Each controller is assembled, wired, labeled, and tested before shipping.
- 8 xConnect pixel outputs — up to 750 RGB pixels per port at 40 FPS
- 6,000 RGB pixel controller output capacity
- Dual 10/100 Ethernet ports with onboard network switch for daisy-chained network connections
- Supports common RGB pixels and supported RGBW pixel types, including UCS2904
- Available in 350 W or 700 W power configurations
- 3 programmable onboard input connections for buttons, sensors, triggers, or supported FPP API actions
- Boxco P-Series weather-resistant enclosure

Product Overview
The Cosmic 8-Series turns the Baldrick8 V2 controller board into a complete ready-to-run pixel controller for show builders who want a finished enclosure instead of a bare controller board. It is designed for holiday lighting displays, smaller commercial installations, and addressable RGB pixel projects that need a compact, tested 8-output controller.
The V2 design adds a second Ethernet port and onboard network switch, allowing controllers or other network devices to be connected in a daisy-chain configuration without requiring a separate network switch at every controller location.
This build includes pre-installed xConnect pigtails, two waterproof RJ45 panel couplers, outdoor-rated cable routing, labeled internal wiring, and a tested enclosure layout. Choose the 350 W version for smaller layouts or the 700 W version when additional onboard power capacity is needed.

Compatibility Notes
- This is a ready-to-run pixel controller build, not a bare controller board.
- Use wired Ethernet for normal show control.
- This is a pixel controller, not an FPP player or show computer.
- The Baldrick8 V2 includes two Ethernet ports with an onboard switch for daisy-chained network connections.
- The three programmable input connections are available on the controller board but are not externally cabled through the enclosure on the standard build.
- External buttons, sensors, or other supported triggers may be connected by the user through the onboard Phoenix-style terminals.
- Power injection may still be required depending on pixel count, cable length, voltage drop, and display layout.
- If you plan to use RGBW pixels or non-standard pixel types, please confirm the pixel IC/protocol before ordering.
