Before you order
- Confirm the xConnect option on the controller, strand, extension and caps.
- Have an Ethernet connection, suitable computer and appropriate AC supply available.
- If using an existing controller, confirm its 12V output arrangement, protocol and connector before omitting the new controller.

Before you order
- Read the window-frame guide and confirm your windows suit the 48-node example.
- Decide how to obtain four finished 48-node strings. The listed stock strings are not four preterminated 48-node strings; check the unmodified-string warranty or request custom lengths.
- Measure every extension route and choose appropriate mounting and termination parts.

Before you order
- Choose the exact Apollo USA 32-strand / 2in configuration. If unavailable, keep this as a planning list or omit it only if you already own that compatible tree and lighting package.
- Check the current tree installation instructions, site anchoring and guying, controller placement and measured cable routes.
- Complete the load plan for each supply, bank, output and cable using the actual strands and intended brightness.
Additional items to plan for
- Site anchoring, guying and mounting materials required by the current instructions
- AC distribution, network switch/cables and a show player
- Any additional power-distribution materials needed by the actual load plan
- Star, extra props, audio, tools, labor, tax and delivery
How to use your reviewed list
- Match the system you own. If you already have an item, omit it only after checking voltage, connector and required function. Owning a controller does not automatically establish that it matches the selected pixels.
- Replace example lengths with measured routes. Include bends, mounting height and service access. Recheck the load and data plan if an extension changes.
- Resolve unfinished construction items. The window example needs four finished 48-node strings and appropriate terminations; the Apollo example needs site anchoring and controller mounting. Those items are listed beside the recipe.
- Review the cart before checkout. Confirm the variant, quantity, price and availability of every item. An unavailable part remains part of the plan until you choose a verified replacement or confirm that you already own it.
- Build and test one complete connection first. Keep its port assignment and cable labels with your plan before repeating the arrangement.
Apollo connection plan
For the listed Apollo example, the two Mconnect Baldrick17 controllers each serve 16 separate 75-node strands. A network switch connects the controllers to the chosen show player. Each controller retains its own supplied power connection. The unused output on each controller remains available for a later, separately checked load.
