Planning Your Display
I'm new to RGB lighting. Where should I start?
Start with one manageable project and a parts list. Our Start Here guide and Learning Center walk through planning your first display. Use the shopping checklist before ordering.
Does a kit include everything I need?
Kit contents depend on the product and selected variant. Read the included-parts list and compare it with your project before checkout. Do not assume pixels, a controller, power supplies, cables, mounting hardware or a show player are included unless the listing says so. Send us the product link and your plan when you need help checking the parts.
How do I choose compatible pixels, controllers and cables?
Use the specifications for the exact products you are buying. Check voltage, protocol, connector wiring and controller requirements rather than relying on appearance alone. Our connector guide, controller comparison and power and wiring guide explain what to verify.
Where are the instructions and xLights models?
Visit Assembly Guides for product instructions and CoroWorks xLights Model Downloads for CoroWorks files. For other props, check the product page and the manufacturer's model resources. Match the model to the exact prop version before sequencing. We also have Baldrick guides and EZRGB and EZPlayer guides.
Ordering and Shipping
Is every product shipped from the same warehouse?
No. We ship from our U.S. inventory and, for certain items, through suppliers and fulfillment partners. Check the product page and checkout for the terms that apply. Preorders, made-to-order products and special orders follow their disclosed timelines; they are not the same as in-stock items.
When will my order ship, and what does free shipping cover?
Processing and delivery vary by product, order volume, destination and carrier. Tracking is provided when available. Advertised free U.S. shipping applies to eligible standard service, typically UPS Ground unless stated otherwise; expedited service is not included. Oversized, freight, international and factory-direct items may have different terms. See our Shipping Info for details.
Can I pick up my order?
San Jose pickup must be arranged in advance. Contact us before visiting so we can confirm that the items are at the pickup location and ready. Some products ship from another warehouse or supplier.
Do you ship internationally?
Availability and charges depend on the destination and product. Review checkout and the product's shipping terms before payment. Taxes, duties and import charges may apply according to the shipping arrangement. See Shipping Info or contact us with your destination and product links.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Contact Support@MattosDesigns.com promptly with your order number and requested change. We will check the order's status and applicable terms. A request does not guarantee a change or cancellation, especially after fulfillment or custom production has begun.
Returns, Warranty and Troubleshooting
How do I request a return?
Email support and obtain an issued Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before shipping anything back or bringing it to the shop. Standard return requests must be made within 30 days of purchase, subject to eligibility and the full Return & Refund Policy. Approved RMA returns do not incur a restocking fee. Unapproved returns may be refused or, if accepted, subject to a 30% restocking fee. That fee does not apply to verified defects, shipping damage or our fulfillment errors. Please read the full policy for exclusions and consumer rights.
Something arrived damaged, missing or incorrect. What should I send?
Keep the packaging and email support with your order number, the affected item and clear photos of the package and contents. For a lighting fault, include a short video showing the problem and identify the controller or tester used. Wait for return instructions before sending products back.
What warranty applies to my product?
Warranty periods and coverage vary by product. Refer to the listing and warranty documentation for your purchase, then contact support with the order number and a description of the problem. Warranty claims are separate from standard change-of-mind returns.
My pixels are not working. What should I check first?
Use our RGB troubleshooting guide and the instructions for your exact equipment. Tell support what works, what fails and what changed, and include connector photos and a short test video. Stop using equipment that is damaged, overheating or unsafe rather than continuing to test it.
